Over the past year, Joyotee has been involved in the Art of Living and been inspired by the teachings of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. This has helped her find her true self and calling. 3 paintings in this show are dedicated to this, namely Satsang (Joy in the company of others), Seva (Service of others) & Sadhna (Meditation).

Shakti is hence the culmination of 2 tumultuous years for Joyotee in which she experienced extreme pain, death, life, birth & ultimate joy. Shakti is a celebration of Joyotee's own re-birth!
